In addition to her legal practice, Jelena Lučić-Nöthig, has considerable experience as head of legal affairs, compliance and management board office of financial institutions operating in credit cards and leasing industries. This background provides significant added value in advising both domestic and international clients on a wide range of legal issues arising in their day-to-day business, particularly in the areas of company and contract law, consumer lending, consumer and personal data protection.
She has acted as legal advisor in series of capital market transactions, commencing with the pioneer initial public offerings of state-owned companies’ shares (INA and HT). For many years she has also rendered legal services to clients in telecom, public roads and energy sector.
Jelena acts as legal advisor on M&A and restructuring projects, providing legal support throughout all stages of a transaction (structuring, due diligence, negotiations, drafting transaction documents, closing) and represents clients in commercial and investment arbitration.
