BUTERIN&PARTNERS Law Firm, Ltd., Zagreb, Masarykova ulica 3, entered in the court register of the Commercial Court of Zagreb under company registration number (MBS) 080752526, PIN (OIB) 88443826619 (hereinafter: the Law Firm) in accordance with the provisions of article 13 and article 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR)
with this Policy informs data subjects on the circumstances of processing that the Law Firm performs.

The Law Firm may collect your personal data (name and surname, contact information, financial information) when you hire us in the capacity of your attorney or legal representative, and also before that, when you contact us with a request to provide legal assistance, when you contact us as a possible business partner or employer, and in cases when a counterparty hires us to provide legal assistance. The aforementioned personal data can be collected directly from you or the counterparty, or electronically (by e-mail communication).

In these cases, we collect your personal data as a controller. In case of any questions related to personal data collection or processing, you are free to contact our data protection officer via e-mail: ured@buterin-partneri.hr or you can send us the relevant request directly in writing. As mentioned above, we collect your personal data in specified cases for the purpose of concluding and completing a contract. Thereat we collect only data that are indispensable for specified purpose.

We do not deliver collected personal data to third parties, nor do we export data outside of the European Union, unless that is required for the fulfilment of our obligations from the contract we concluded with you or when we are legally obligated to do so. For instance, we shall deliver your personal data to the competent court for representation in court proceedings, i.e. to the counterparty or counterparties that participate with you in the procedure in which we provide a different kind of legal assistance to you, and we shall deliver them to competent pension and social insurance bodies when we hire you.
We can also use and reveal your personal data when this is necessary to protect our rights and obligations or when we are legally obligated to do so (for instance, in case of suspicion of committed criminal offense by using our site or in another manner).
Collected personal data are saved for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose of their collection and stored in accordance with our obligations prescribed by regulations applying to our activity (10 years after final conclusion of the proceedings we have conducted on your behalf). When this obligation does not apply, then your data shall be stored for a period of 6 years from the conclusion of rendering legal service that does not include representation in court proceedings, that is, from the conclusion of other kinds of our business cooperation, or for a period of 2 years related to the collection of data of potential job candidates.
We collect your personal data on a contractual basis (except for potential job candidates or business associates) and process them automatically or manually, without creating any kind of a profile.

If we have collected your personal data on a voluntary basis (potential job candidates or business associates) you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. However, this shall not affect the legality of data processing prior to withdrawing the consent. In that case you can contact us in writing or by sending an e-mail to ured@buterin-partneri.hr

We respect the right of the data subject to access, rectify and limit personal data processing, as well as the right to object to data processing, and the right to data portability. These rights can be exercised by submitting a written request to our address or by e-mail to ured@buterin-partneri.hr. The right to submit an objection is realized by submitting the objection to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency.
We also inform you that our web site uses cookies technology, so-called functional cookies. Such cookies are also regularly used by other web sites to ensure proper functioning of the site. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the computer or mobile device you used to access our site, and are intended for our site “to remember” your actions, i.e. settings (such as language, font, letter size) over a period of time, so that you do not have to keep reentering them each time you visit our site. We do not collect your personal data with cookies.
